I've recently graduated from a medical/professional degree that will let me move out to anywhere and set up a clinic and start a life and family with my girlfriend. Lived in Toronto for 30 years and have been in Vancouver for a few months to write my licensing exams. I've seen Toronto go from a happy vibrant safe city to a place filled with immigrants who hate Canada and self-loathing beta males.
I'm getting sick of where society is headed politically... culturally... etc. and want to move way out to the country. Get a nice plot of land and a house to fix up. Cutting off internet access, cellphones, social media, even my email address, and instead getting a home phone with an answering machine, and spending more time reading books and going to church. Even bought an electric typewriter so I can ditch my computer. My girlfriend is a elementary school teacher whose family was from a communist country and is pretty based. She's quitting the public school system this year after the curriculum has turned to sex-ed and non-stop Aboriginal studies for Grade 1s and 2s. We're going to homeschool away from the marxist indoctrination and pride parades and white-hating and man-hating.
Has anyone else considered this? Or achieved it in any way? Are there any good towns/communities left that haven't been taken over by leftists?
Depends where you live in BC. I’ve heard the rural parts and kelowna tend to be conservative
I’ve heard the Indians cause a lot of trouble in Saskatchewan. Found this out from my uncle who used to be a cop.
The farther you get up north, the worse it gets.
Saskatchewan already has the highest crime rate of the provinces. And by higher I mean twice to three times higher than Toronto.
You can even find houses for $12k on Zillow or Point2Homes in Saskatchewan. Just be aware that these will be run down, 2 bed bungalows from the 50s that were used as meth labs in a town that lost 30% of their population in the last 20 years.
These 2 statements are incompatible in 2021. You'll need that internet access, cellphone, social media, and email for at the very least professional reasons if you intent to actually build a business that's successful enough to support yourself.
Maybe he's gonna cook meth in a camper?
