I'm having a hard time understanding why anyone thinks these vaccines are ga solution to this pandemic.
They keep covid patients out of the hospital. As of October 10 the large majority of people in Ontario hospitals with covid are from the minority of people who are not vaccinated.
why are more people dying now than were this time last year
More people infected, and variants which are worse than the original virus.
On Oct 5 2020 there were 168,960 cases. On Oct 5 2021 there were 1,657,262 - ten times as many - (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/canada/), and in the interim some variants of concern have appeared which have a higher transmission rate and cause a more severe infection.

You fucking retard. That's total cases, ever. Of course there's going to have been more cases a year later if you're counting them all cumulatively. That's how basic addition works.
The metric that matters for how well the vaccine is preventing spread is how many new cases are appearing each day, and right now we're getting 3,735 new cases a day, whereas on 9 Oct 2020 we were at 2,145 a day.
The metric that matters how well the vaccine is preventing infected people from dying is the number of covid deaths per day, and right now we're at 36 deaths a day whereas on 9 Oct 2020 we were at 23 deaths a day.

And if in two months (December) the death rate will be considerable lower than in 2020, will you make a post that the vaccines are working? In December 2020 about 100 to 120 people every day died due to Covid and we had a vaccination rate of 0%.
But we know that you won't make that post. Kinda funny to see you make the same points as the anti-vaxx PPCtards you banned.

It's not and you know that. You can see how effective or ineffective the vaccine is if you compare the outcomes. How many people die while they are fully vaccinated vs. not vaccinated and compare that to the overall vaccination rate. Alberta for example publishes that data.
