News out of Colorado Children’s Hospital’s Gender Clinic prompted outrage once news of a “Gender Clinic” offering genital mutilation to minors who are unable to consent to permanent sterilization. The Pediatric Hospital’s “first of its kind” program horrified the vast majority of the population. Children’s Colorado facilitates sex-changes for children in the form of hormone treatments and irreversible surgeries.
According to the hospital’s website, Children’s Center for Gender Surgery offers a “full suite of treatment options”, including double mastectomies for girls as young as 15 and sterilizing genital surgeries for teens. The program has seen over 1,000 pediatric patients, as young as 3 years old.
Children’s Colorado is been sued for medical malpractice and for failing to report Child Abuse.
