Seeing comments on the cbc and elsewhere there appears to no hope for the average Canadian retard. Communities like this one are tiny and aren't found elsewhere. Compare with USA for example and although the majority are brainwashed covidiots, there is a large chunk of the population that isn't and that translates into many millions of free thinking skeptics. Seems to me that Canada and Germany are the most brainwashed western nations but Canada has, in sheer numbers, the smallest count of non-conformists by far.

Agree 100%. I know many educated, intelligent, professionals who are thoroughly anti-USA despite never giving it a thought who will trip into any inane idea so long as it's opposite USA policy or actuality.
Man... Canadian healthcare... I haven't had a RAMQ in at least 14 years because I was sickened by the total apathy and unprofessionalism of doctors in hospitals and clinics in the rare times I went at the behest of my relatives. Imagine waiting 5 hours, with an appointment, to get "diagnosed" by someone who will literally barely lay eyes on you and doesn't care to listen to you describing your symptoms. The first things doctors are taught is to carefully evaluate the symptoms described by a patient yet that's been my experience every time.
I love standing for our front-line heroes who are doing tiktok videos in empty hospitals while people are dying isolated at home because of failed COVID policies. So brave of them to keep quiet for free pizza and billboard taps on the back. Note: I'm generalizing with the health practitioners, but the policies in Canada around admission and care during COVID are a crime against Canadians.

Good point. The MSM may dictate what would appear to be the popular discourse, but when you look at youtube channels with contrarian and libertarian views, they are far more popular. Have you seen the view counts on trash like CNN, MSNBC, etc compared to dudes doing commentary on yt by themselves? It's quite impressive; more so when you see how many such channels there are.

Give it time. This is anecdotal evidence but I've had friends and family wake up and get red pilled. They aren't saying anything but instead watching the news and questioning things. They also look at mostly conservative news outlets too. I will try to find the video but Tim Pool had a study that showed the Silent Majority to be a real thing. My wife is a rational, intelligent, educated woman who's well aware that MSM push propaganda, but she couldn't take me seriously when I was telling her how Trump is probably the best president in my life time who has an unmatched and growing list of very significant accomplishments. What I was telling her, was so radically at odds with the official narrative, that despite knowing the MSM are mostly fake news, she couldn't believe me. By chance, she started looking into the reality of child-trafficking and that was her red pill. Now she's pro-Trump and anti-Trudeau lol.

This perception of Canadians being cucks is not necessarily true. 33% of registered Canadian voters did not vote in 2019 and if you look, nearly 1% of votes cast were spoiled ballots. There's people like me who fucking hate SJWs but who aren't socially conservative and so they will never vote Tory even if they won't vote Liberal or NDP either. A lot of young people especially don't vote. We largely realize that politics is a scam and politicians are there mostly to enrich themselves and their family and inner circle. Rather than to serve the public.
If I started my own political party that I feel would resonate with my generation more (this idea that millennials are mostly SJWs is bullshit. Only the ones who vote are majority Liberal/NDP. Most of us don't vote), I'd be thrown in jail for "hate speech" or Antifa would firebomb my house or carbomb me. So as long as the culture is sick and our Charter of Rights and Freedoms was written by Pierre Trudeau (which includes inciting hatred as not protected speech. I am pro-gun so I actually wouldn't have minded if the Tories relaxed gun laws. lol. "Assault rifle" bans and handgun bans really just ensures that only criminals, police and military have guns. As an agnostic person that has never liked religion I was happy with secularism gaining hold. But it is clear to me now that too many people are not able to exist without it. They need it on a DNA level. The Wokeists just naturally created a new one out of far left concepts. They fight so hard, claiming to fight for oppressed people it makes them feel like the ultimate compassionate people. The best people alive. Trudeau or Harper, for example, are both globalist croneys to me, though the former was better for Canadian's prosperity in Canada. I could not vote for any party I see today in Canada. IMO Jack Layton was murdered (sudden radiation-induced terminal cancer was an almost common murder method developed in the 50's) because his party was sure to win the next election and, if you look into it, he had significant stances that can be considered anti-establishment. For example, about the absurd interest rates on credit cards fleecing Canadians.

Joining the military is not the same thing as bravery. Maybe more people out West see it as the failure of an armed force that it is? At this point our armed forces are pure politics, and are not given the respect or funding needed to function as a fighting force. Too many members of the forces have no business occupying any role of authority.

I haven't researched if that's changed under the new USMCA deal but I doubt it.
