Most people can't even explain the difference between a hypothesis and a theory in the context of the scientific method.

Anyone who says "the science is settled" regarding hot button issues like climate change impact and COVID likely is trying to push their narrative as 'Gospel' (how ironic)

Once one fails to recognize that the current scientific theory could be theoretically questioned and ultimately disproven, it ceases to be science and becomes nothing but dogma.
