This is a key point that the eludes most people on the the right, which is why we're losing.
TL:DW - This is a public relations war, and the right has no game whatsoever.
Most people on our team think the rightness/truth of our ideas should be enough for us to win. That is childishly naive. EVERYONE thinks their ideas are right. That's why they hold them. The public aren't just going to hear your side of the argument and magically realize "Hey those guys are absolutely right!". It just doesn't work like that.
How many hard-headed normies have you tried to reason with IRL and despite telling them a simple, easy to understand, provable truth, you still hit a brick wall with them?
That happens because people don't base their beliefs on simply what's most likely to be true. There are layers and layers of emotional investment, moral inertia, tribalism, good-guy/bad-guy image, reluctance to admit being wrong etc etc that an individual has to overcome in order to change their position on something.
That's the arena the left plays in. They play with emotion, perceptions, sense of virtue, morality, good-guy/bad-guy impressions, all the shit that really governs which political camps people stand in.
The right however just counts on the public to see things our way because our ideas are so obviously right, who couldn't be persuaded by them when shown?
Hell, not only do we not play in the indirect persuasion arena, we outright scoff at it. We make suicidally stupid PR errors all the time that set us back with the public, and not only do we not learn from them, we attack anyone who tries to point out that we fucked up and we need to do better on the PR front if we ever want to win. The problem is, most people on the right don't even understand the game that's being played.

Because they're not "the left's" rules. They're just the rules. They're the rules by which PR wars are won, and you're playing to lose.
Smarten up. Or you're going to spend the rest of your life under the left's whip.
