Maybe it really is just anecdotal on my part but the three Gen Xers in my social circle (my older brother and sister and my "friend") are all for this lockdown horseshit and they buy into the CNN propaganda. The person in my life who is most skeptical of lockdowns, was even more skeptical than me, is a 24 year old zoomer/young millennial. I'm one of the older millennials (mid-30s). If anything being in my mid-30s makes me more anti-lockdown because I see youth as a finite resource compared to my 20s when I was wasting away much of my life playing video games and jerking off to porn. I used to be an "incel" in my 20s before I even knew what an incel was until I realized that there were women who wanted to sleep with me. I just had to put in some effort with putting myself out there and go outside to get laid. So I know a thing or two about wasting your youth and the preciousness of youth. It is criminal that our society is sacrificing the youth for a bunch of boomers and Silent Gen that already enjoyed their youth.

I know there are a lot of millennial cucks on reddit who are for the lockdown. Though I doubt that it's the majority for my generation. A lot of millennials are single ready to mingle or don't live with their significant other. So a lockdown lowers their quality of life. A lot of millennials are customer-facing workers who get negatively impacted by shutdown of non-essential businesses. A lot of millennials are broke and unable to afford a home, give a large chunk of their paycheque to their landlord, many live with their parents (who shame them for going to social gatherings because they fear catching corona), etc. $2,000/month CERB cheques before taxes is not living high on the hog and is no compensation for isolation and losing your job. What's the fucking point of being a shut-in collecting $2,000/month before taxes watching Netflix, shitposting, playing vidya, eating hot pockets and SkipTheDishes and jerking off to porn? Doesn't the social isolation get to millennials? Don't they want to date or see their significant other? Of course they do. I can see why someone who can't get laid anyways would support the lockdown but that's about it for my generation.

My girlfriend is also a millennial, a few years younger than me, and she is very fed up with this shit. She is an anti-CCP Cantonese-Canadian. Even Chinks realize that this is a scamdemic. They know better than anybody actually since they remember SARS and the various flus that came out of China.

And zoomers are totally anti-lockdown from my experience.
