You have yet to offer a legitimate counterargument to my previous replies. Toronto is the only City I know of in North America that still has a remotely decent streetcar system, and even then it's 'terrible'. Not only because it's seldom maintained, but because it has to interact with automobile and bus traffic to boot. Just because it's "Famous" doesn't mean that anything I said previously does not hold water.
I hate Toronto, and practically every major city in North America, because it's purposely designed to 'require' you to purchase an Oil-based Automobile. People like you are then brainwashed to believe that Oil is a necessity that cannot be replaced, when in reality mankind was doing just fine and was on the right track long before the Ford Model T was a thing. If anything the advent of highways and major roads are a major 'detriment' to society, and holds us back in so many ways.
I can't stand Liberals and Neocons like yourself. I can't stand Liberals because they do not have a realistic, workable plan to transition away from Oils, and I hate neocons that focus on "Muh GDP" at the expense of our natural environment and the good of society. All major cities should follow the example set by European cities like Amsterdam, give us every reason 'not' to purchase a car. Electric or not.
