It's as if the social media/news issues just went from a 6 to a full-on "10".

I mean 'cancel culture' was bad enough. But, now there's this threatening aspect.

I think that's why the polling was so off when it came to Trump; a lot of people were keeping their mouths shut.

We've kind of entered a new era where it will be difficult to gauge what the general public is thinking or doing at any given time. Media like Twitter and reddit will be complete echo chambers, with the other 50 percent of people being in a kind of secret society.

Or, it could happen that people start literally fighting back. If people are threatened over their legitimate political views, it could get very, very messy. What makes Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez think that she won't have to look over her shoulder? This is bad.
