If two color negatives one of a white person and one of a black person and yiu print both, if the color settings are good on the first one they will be good on the black one as well.

She is trying to basically use the fact that photography functions on capturing reflected light to make this physical reality a racist thing. Obviously a black person reflects less light and needs to be overexposed which will make the lighter parts of the scene too white. Its not about the colors and engineering of the film its purely that the more dark a subject is the higher the contrast will be. Ill try to take a picture of a white person in my darkroom and complain that the film made the person black. And the room as well.
