It's right in the article: "the use of the word “nurse” in the bios of CFN’s founders and the group’s name itself lends a misplaced impression of credibility." Also: ""It's dangerous to put that title out there, meaning a nurse title, which obviously carries meaning for the public and then misrepresents truth or science," Villeneuve said."

Misplaced credibility != using nurse to mislead.

Finally, the subtitle of the article suggests that those behind the group are not actually nurses.

How can you say that when they literally call them nurses.

The majority of deaths during the influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 were not caused by the influenza virus acting alone, report researchers from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health. Instead, most victims succumbed to bacterial pneumonia following influenza virus infection.

Dude. The Spanish Flu is a virus, right from the source you linked. The people just died because of the bacterial pneumonia after the virus damaged the immune system.

Using 'nurse' in the organization name of 'Canadian Frontline Nurses' is misleading because the nurses leading the organization have either been fired for speaking out against C19 measures or are not currently practicing?

The article doesn't make that claim. They acknowledge that they are nurses and they acknowledge that there are nurses who are against vaccines.

Nagle recently claimed that you "can't catch a virus" and that polio and Spanish flu were not caused by viruses.

That's a hot take.

A ranked ballot would end him.

You have to be retarded to think that. A ranked ballot is only helpful to either the Liberals or the NDP. The majority of NDP voters would have the Liberals as second choice and the majority of Liberals would have the NDP as second choice. It would decimate the Conservatives even more.

electoral reform

That would be the death blow to the CPC.

because there's traditionally only one Conservative party ... It's going to be a lot more than three Conservative losses going forward.

This happened already with the Reform Party/Canadian Alliance and the Progressive Conservatives. This split led to a 13 year long Liberal rule.

If O'Toole loses this election, speak it would be the third election loss for the Conservatives in a row, I wonder how they will react. Will they move even more the left and risk to bleed even more of their base to the PPC? Also it's kinda funny that the PPC is polling above the Greens and the Bloc and yet won't get a single seat (probably).

We are now one week from the election and the question is "who will be able to bleed less voters?" Will the NDP hurt the Liberals more or less than the PPC will hurt the Conservatives?

Back in 2019 the combined CPC/PPC polled at 33-35, now they poll at a combined 35-40.

Doesn't matter in a FPTP system. If the CPC gets 30% nationwide and the PPC 10%, then say hello to a Trudeau majority government again.

This plan doesn't include a vaccine mandate or passport, but it would require unvaccinated civil servants and domestic travellers boarding a bus, plane, train or boat to show recent negative COVID-19 test results or undergo rapid testing. It also promises to work with provinces to develop a national proof-of-vaccination system that could be used for international travel.

I don't think that OP means the PPC platform and policies with "stigmatizing factors" when he says that the platform would be the same.

The stigmatizing factors are the retard throwing rocks at Trudeau, candidates that think you can breathe through your balls and leader with a heavy french accent.

And these are provincial vax passports, not federal. Almost all of them are implemented by Conservative premiers. Also, the didn't give them the money yet. He promised it, if he wins the election.

and I think they’d be draining all the parties, disproportionately the left.

You're delusional to think that the PPC would be mostly getting votes from the left when their policies are anti-immigration and denying climate change.

Trudeau's is for restaurants

It's not. Trudeau's vaccine passport is for domestic travel by air or train in addition to international travel. The feds have power over airports and train stations. Vaccine passports for restaurants are a provincial matter. Don't disprove one lie with another. Makes you look stupid.

I said it when Trudope had to cancel his first event because of these protesters.

Such incidents only rile up the voter base of the Liberals.

This idiot may be responsible for another Trudeau government. Things like this make Trudeau look sympathetic.

Ten days to go and it seems like nothing will change. The NDP will hurt the Liberals as much as the PPC will hurt the Conservatives.

They didn't get a BTFO. They are still in power, just under a different name.

It happened big-time in Ontario back in 2018.

And how did that turn out ...

An IWC Regulateur isn't $25,000. Not even half of that.
