Amandeep is a real name, so is Sukh. It's funny, but it's just a normal name at the end of the day, there's nothing racial about it. Just like if a Chinese guy was called Harry Wang or if a Vietnamese woman was called Phuc Dat Bich. They're all real names. The real racist here is the one doesn't believe it to be a real name and made a big deal out of it. The ones who complained are the ones being racist by denying a brown man's name just because it sounds goofy in English.

Zoomer/millenial here, just graduated from university two years ago and this is my take. From what I've seen thus far, it's all about how many dicks you can suck and how well you suck them. I mean that figuratively of course, although doing it literally may also help. Just make sure you're sucking the right person. You have to start doing it as early as internship if you want to land a job right after graduation. If you touch the right peepees for the right people during your internships, it'll be smooth sailing for you once you graduate. Your old boss might not be able to hire you back, but he'll recommend you to his buddies from a different company. Not so different from being an escort really. Think of it as establishing good rapport with all your clients so that they might recommend you to their friends. This applies to all degrees, even STEM.
Sometimes I'll be eavesdropping some professors while I'm standing in line for a coffee. A lot of circle-jerking action going on in those academic circles. They're always trying to figure out whose dick they'll suck next so they can get more grants and funding for their next research. Academia has just as much drama and office politics as the corporate culture.
