A mask (suck it up just this once. It's not worth losing your vote over). They'll have them there if you don't have your own. Don't argue with them. Just wear it.

Vaccine passports, which are being rolled out in several U.S. cities, France, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, and in other areas, might be mandated in the future for “major public gatherings,” according to the government.

So they're lifting restrictions but not ruling out a papers please society.

Consider: vacksine is under emergency authorization

Not in Canada. That's the definition in the States. In Canada, it's under what's called an Interim Order. The conditions for that are simply that the Minister has to determine that the evidence provided supports the conclusion that the benefits outweigh the risks, taking into account any uncertainties about said benefits and risks.

In other words, all the minister has to say is "the data looks good to me." And if there are side effects? "Still worth it." And if they dare look at the info that says natural immunity is more effective? "Natural immunity means getting covid in the first place and we don't want that. The jab is still worth it." And the interim order is still good to go.

In 2018 international testing of 15-year-olds in mathematics, China ranked first in proficiency while the United States ranked 25th.

Do we know how Canada did in that test?

Writing a letter from a template is a great way for it to get ignored. Just write from the heart. Also, understand you will get a lot of buck passing. The board will tell you they're just listening to public health and/or the government. It won't matter how many references you provide.

Human rights legislation adds a further layer of complexity. Employers are not permitted to ask an applicant or an employee about current or past medical conditions. Therefore, once a medical mask exemption is presented by an employee from a medical professional, an employer is well advised to accept the exemption at face value without further inquiry.

Didn't he say something about balancing the budget in 10 years?

Yes, he said 10 years. Never mind that Canada hasn't had ten years of Conservative government since the 1870s. (To be fair Mulroney and Harper both had about nine.)

"I said at the last election that we would balance the budget in two years, but now with that huge deficit that won't be possible, so we would be able to balance the budget in four years."

How many years will it take in 2025?

Since the beginning? No. I have to admit I was fooled at first because at first they said flu-like symptoms and 2% mortality rate. It wasn't until we started seeing numbers out of non-China countries that I saw what was going on.

I hand off a debit card to someone I trust who is okay with abnormality. I tell them what to get and let them get something for themselves.

As for everything else? I pay bills online. I haven't bought anything else. I know eventually I'll need to get new clothes. That thought does worry me but I'll figure it out.

I haven't set foot in buildings outside of home and work since the mask mandates went into play. It changes nothing for me. I won't go into businesses unless I can go without a mask or papers.

I can name my Lib and NDP candidates. As far as I can tell, the CPC doesn't even HAVE a candidate for my riding yet. I checked the official website and my riding isn't there.

Good thing the Canadian electoral system is set up that we don't vote for the leader. We only get to vote for a local candidate, who in turn gets to vote for a leader.

"Yeah, why not?"

Why not indeed.
