This article is a perfect example of pure fabricated propaganda which we are fed daily. On one hand we have a serious systemic racism problem, on the other most of us want increased immigration. That does not square at all and should be enough for anyone with half a brain to know we are being fed misinformation.
Anyone who has lived in the largest six cities in Canada over the last decade can tell you that Canada, as anyone born 30+ years ago or further back knew it, is over. There is no reversing the tide now and any talk of 'we should not give up, we can reverse things' is nonsense.
We have been purposefully lied to by Statistics Canada for decades. Anyone with children in school in any of these cities and many smaller ones know that the descendants of those who built this country are absolutely not still 65% of the population. My wife worked at Stats Can for years and we know of the fuckery that goes on there.
Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Only time will tell but what's happening in France is likely a good indicator of what our future holds. You can't just jam millions of people from a wide array of backgrounds, beliefs, customs together in a short period of time like we have. What you get are enclaves which breed true racism, distrust, hatred etc. Our cities demonstrate the definition of enclaves and are deteriorating daily. The GTA is filthy, dangerous with gunplay daily and like driving in the 3rd world. There is a widening gap between the super rich and everyone else. This is how cities are in the 3rd world and expect Toronto to be more and more like Buenos Aires or Rio de Janeiro in the near future.
To ensure our economy does not collapse the govt is tripling down on immigration and will be fire hosing people into medium sized cities and small towns over the next decade. The last gasp of Canada is upon us. Our future will be one of a rapidly declining standard of living, increased social unrest and restricted travel to the US as we become more of a security risk. The only hope is that the US takes action and annexes us before we go down the drain completely.
My recommendation is if you cannot afford to buy a place in the city, buy something in a small town or in the country, anything as an investment even if it is a dump so you can at least have a piece of something before it is too late and you become poverty stricken and forgotten about in your country of birth.
I don't know whether to believe these polls or not, even on Reddit with their mass censorship, the disdain for mass immigration is tearing through the seams. It seems that more people are on board with it than actually are because the mods will delete comments of people who speak out against it (this has happened to me a half dozen times).
9/10 wanting higher immigration seems completely made up and I think this could be to try to herd people into the mentality of wanting to fit in, "if everyone else wants it, it must be good and I don't want to be the only guy who speaks out against it". Sadly despite how obvious of a tactic this is, I don't doubt at all that it works at least somewhat on a mass scale. I can't prove that 9/10 Canadians don't want mass immigration but when Reddit of all places starts saying to put the breaks on things you know it's NOT 9/10 that want more.
How many of those "Candians" are immigrants themselves who simply want more of their people to come, including their families to leech off of our society and eventually take over. Canada is the world's doormat and at this point it seems like it's a race to see who can replace us first.
No 9/10 Canadians don't want mass immigration and to be replaced, but the century initiative wants you to believe that everyone else around you does so you don't speak out about it.
a) living in a majority white little bubble wishing for "muh diversity" or
b) a racist immigrant who want's more people from their tribe because fuck living in harmony with those other people over there from the other tribe
If the focus was on bringing in solely higher qualification immigrants as opposed to say, laborers, wouldn’t the input value increase more and result in increasing per capita output and an increase in per capita income and overall living standards?
Well said.

If a politician runs on the platform of changing this he's labeled racist/xenophobic.
Yes, but with the right messaging and anticipation of the smears they could use that negative coverage and flip it - like Trump.
Sadly, most politicians only seem to think 2 steps ahead (1. get elected. 2. Profit)
Any one supporting this is either:
a) living in a majority white little bubble wishing for "muh diversity" or b) a racist immigrant who want's more people from their tribe because fuck living in harmony with those other people over there from the other tribe
Correction: Immigrants open to accepting more immigrants from the homeland.
This is propaganda! Canadians don’t feel like this at all
Also, Hillary was a shoe in to win!
Polls are to manipulate, not inform.
Unprecedented unemployment. Crushing housing prices. The pandemic. Let's make all worse with massive immigration. Virtue signalling over leadership.

Canada is too ‘woke’.
