Funny thing is, the managers who treat these immigrant workers like shit are often from the same country. I had an Indian coworker who told me that her boss from her previous job at a Dollarama would overwork her all the time and force her to do physically demanding work even during her pregnancy. And the boss was also an Indian. She says Indian bosses understands how new immigrants are desperate for any jobs so they exploit that mentality.

I asked her why she didn't just tell her boss to go fuck himself and quit for a different job, she believes it's hard for someone like her to find a new job because of systemic discrimination so she's scared to quit and start over. She didn't understand the fact that all minimum wage workers get treated like shit, it doesn't really matter if you have an Indian boss or a white boss. You're not treated like shit because of your race, your treated like shit because you're easily replaceable. The least you could do if you're gonna work minimum wage is find yourself a position where the direct manager is a decent enough human being to work for.

Working 8 hrs a day with 15 min break sounds like what the rest of us get. Fucking entitled assholes. Go back to your shit country then. We don't want you here.
