What good is charging someone with treason if they don't care. Are they expected to hear "you are in big trouble", lay down their arms and surrender to the closest police station for punishment?
As for the UN having more troops, like in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and other similar wars, small groups of people with intimate knowledge of the area can be a real pain in the ass.
One can point and laugh but I've read that other countries are always impressed with how "do more with less" translates into super professional highly skilled soldiers that can "git-r-dun" under the most oppressive conditions.
Morale*
Lol... spell is not my strong suit! I did want to see what kind of response the Canadian Military would get. I don’t have the time to get into debates with people here but can see the place growing!
Why would seeing this bring a boost to morale? I'm in the CAF. Members only do as their told. If they were told to arrest Canadians walking their dog out during a lock down, they would. Just like our policemen would. Most of them don't give a damn about freedom.
