Nothing, without them hurting us more in retaliation. We have a huge trade deficit with China, which means we're more dependent on Chinese imports than they are on Canadian imports. We are not in a position to try and bully China on trade because that's a fight we're guaranteed to lose. The only way we could ever position ourselves to do that without getting killed economically in return is if people stopped buying Chinese goods and our trade deficit with China turned into a surplus.
There's a reason China abuses its workforces and steals intellectual property to make cheap goods in bulk for export - it puts them in a position of power in relation to the rest of the world via trade.
