Btw there have only been 197 new cases in the past week in all of Northern Ontario (778,941 people). That's an average of 25 new cases per 100,000 per week. As per the Ontario government's guidelines, that's Orange Restrict Zone tier. Not Grey lockdown zone tier. The region in Northern Ontario with the highest rate (Northwestern Health Unit) has only 43 new cases per 100k per week.
The average in Southern Ontario is 172 new cases per 100k per week.
Why on earth is he going to extend the lockdown in Northern Ontario when there's very few cases there?
That's the rumor. It hasn't been confirmed by Doug Ford yet.
If Doug Ford tries this shit, prepare to be culturally enriched by Brampton.

Our government is so dumb. The whole point of curfew is to stop social gatherings basically. Watch people have social gatherings before 8pm instead. They'll arrive at 7:30pm and stay overnight.
Watch Wal-Mart and Costco be packed as fuck at 7:30 spreading the virus around. I love shopping at Wal-Mart after 10 because it's quiet. Now I won't be able to if we have a curfew.
You can snitch on your neighbours already in Ontario if they see a car on your driveway they don't recognize. Social gatherings have been illegal in Toronto and Peel since November 23rd.
Well then lets get to work. Troll and overwork the system.
To what extent do you have to comply with police knocking at your door? Are they allowed to enter your home if they have no visible proof of you having people home? What if they hide in a closed room. Do police have authority to search your house?
