The government should not have the authority to arrest or fine you for peaceful protest. Especially when they allowed BLM protests last summer. This is ridiculous.

The bottom line is that Doug Ford failed with long term care and he fired a bunch of nurses in the summer. And now he wants to finger wag at young people for having social gatherings instead of take personal responsibility. Crazy day today. Everyone in Toronto has largely been ignoring the new house arrest orders so I was surprised to see a massive police presence at the protest. I got there after the two arrests were made so I don't know what happened but the vibe was much angrier than normal.
