Well, don't just tell them to read anything by Aristotle. A lot of it will go over the average person's head, such as the highly abstract Metaphysics. A lot of it they'll find irrelevant, such as Aristotelian biology. You have to point them in the right direction. Imo the writings with greatest practical usefulness are the Politics and the Nicomachean Ethics. The Politics especially will give you a clear idea of what a healthy patriarchal society should look like vs. our unhealthy, sick, degenerate society.
