First line questions should be who do you work for; am I being detained; what will you do if I do not comply with your demands; what will you do if I try to leave.
If no one there is a cop then I dare say we're looking at a civil suit (minimum).
You establish who and under what authority they think they're operating under, you establish their threat and that you are being involuntarily held. You want the cops to show and do the evidence gathering for you.
