Oh fuck off already. We don't have to play by their rules. Of course you would follow it though, it's just enough freedom lost to satisfy your CPC heart.
Says the guy who doesn't even know what a protest is, much less understand why it's bad idea to wave white nationalist tropes at an anti-lockdown rally.
I don't have to explain any of that. All I know is that if someone wants to march around with a tiki torch it isn't a reasonable thought to automatically associate them with being evil. And to follow along with that narrative is pure cowardice on your part.
No, you don't want to explain it because it would prove your position to be wrong.
it isn't a reasonable thought to automatically associate them with being evil.
The thought doesn't have to be reasonable. It just has to be be sellable to the public, which it is due to Charlottesville.
Don't you get it? You and the leftist/media are in a war for the public's support on the subject of lockdowns. When you give the left/media ammo they can use to plausibly convince the audience you're white nationalists, that's a win for them and a lose for you in that battle to win the hearts and minds of the public. Why would you ever shoot yourself in the foot like that? What's the reason? What value did those torches add to your cause that was worth the PR cost?
TLDR. You are a sellout more concerned with optics than principles. It's pretty clear for all to see. I don't have a position except freedom of thought and speech should be unassailable and I do not support any encroachments on that, no matter how far we have slipped down that slope already.
Good luck convincing anyone that you have any credibility when you act with no principles or values.

Can you explain what exactly the purpose of an anti-lockdown protest is, and how that goal is served by sending up white nationalist dog whistles?
