If public health systems as designed are so fragile that they can't handle the slightest bit of stress, then they deserve to fail and be replaced. That's what bugs me about England's bullshit "Protect the NHS" propaganda. If it needs protection, its a failure and it's time for something new.
The funny part was when they had alarm bells and sirens all over the media saying "THE HOSPITALS ARE OVER CAPACITYYYYYYYY!!!!!!"
Then when you go and look at the stats, the hospitals were over capacity last year January. And the year before that. In fact in normal flu season they are always over capacity.
From what I understand is that, locally at least, they don't even really attempt to treat you. Just give you oxygen, because using any of the known treatments jeopardizes emergency authorizations of vaccines. "HELTH!" as the meme would say.
If they don't board those aisles up like a BLM protest is rolling through...
