My grandparents came from Ukraine and were sent to farm in Saskatchewan. Hard working and wanted to be Canadian. Only spoke English after they moved here.

I know a couple Ukrainian guys that moved here to "study" in college. In reality he just wants to escape the draft and make more than the $400 a month they make there. I don't blame him, who would want to go get blown up by Russian artillery in Crimea.
