The government knows this is unconstitutional. Still more than a year later the government has yet to be made accountable in any court. They can lie bold faced to the public but not in court.
The Alberta government engages in the same stonewalling in the Court of Queen’s Bench, where a Charter challenge to the lockdowns was filed in December of 2020. The Alberta government sought and obtained the court’s permission to delay filing scientific evidence until July of 2021.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has ongoing or pending court actions in five provinces to end the Charter-violating lockdowns.
Article 6 doesn't mean shit either when we have courts that rule in furtherance of ideology instead of according to the law.

The guarantee of free travel is worth nothing when the courts aren't in the business of enforcing the law but instead act as ideological crusaders.
Section 7 minus Section 1 equals your rights are whatever the courts say they are. Worst constitution ever.
