So basically BC would be the reverse of China and Taiwan, the commies would be on the island instead of the mainland.

I have a better idea: How about Northern BC and the interior join up with AB and SK and we leave out the lower mainland and the island. That way there's ocean access and a population that hopefully can get onboard with individual freedom and free market enterprise again.
