I would never say "Literally no one in this country supports the PPC".
Unfortunately I'm acutely aware of the extremely loud but tiny fringe minority of PPC voters in this country, as they all seem to have congreated here.

The cons need to be conservative again to have any chance and until then the Maverick and PPC will siphon votes.

LOL there's a grand total of 2% of the vote to be gained by the CPC pushing out to the right. You people do not live in reality.

Yes and no, really.

For one, turning out the base is just as important as "appealing to centrists in the 905." How can the Tories not expect to hemorrhage western Canadian votes without mobilizing all the people who turned out for Scheer?

When O'Toole has disappointed on energy/climate, China, lockdowns, and a plethora of other issues?

The CPC can conceivably gain votes by "tacking right" without winning a single PPC vote.
