When you start to think of the CBC as a taxpayer-funded press arm for taxpayer-funded ethnic and sexual grievance groups, public sector unions and other government-funded entities, then you see that it isn't really a "news" service. It's essentially ITAR-TASS for the giant, sprawling mess of the Canadian public sector.
