Mr. Trudeau could say he won’t provide the unredacted documents, leaving the opposition parties with only one option: force an election through a no-confidence motion.
So, basically nothing. Trudeau is going to call an election anyway.

Didn't Trudeau, his entourage, and every MP (except one) just vote to postpone elections until this "pandemic" is over? Why would he force an election when everyone wanted to postpone them. It doesn't make sense.
But the way I see it, Trudy has all the power he needs right now. He has thr NDP ducking ar his teeth, the CPC pretty much doing what he wants them to do, and the Greens...being the Greens. He could force an election, and take a gamble, or consolidate all the power he has and never call an election again.
