After living in Canada for 25 years, I moved from Waterloo to the Balkans 2 months ago.
The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner.
I'm 33 and I have an online business, so I know and appreciate that not everyone has the same opportunity.
But man, if you do... You will not regret it.
Everything you mentioned in your post is bang-on correct and exactly the reason why I left.
Being in a country that's has an actual culture that the people are proud of - wow. You can feel it in the air. Huge difference. People just trust each other more, and they want to live up to and embody the values of that culture.
As a man in his 30s, I'm also struck by how easy it is to date beautiful women here. There is none of that entitlement you see in the west, girls are much more down to earth and realistic about their prospects. It's much easier to approach them, talk and have a good time with them.
The food tastes better. There's something like 100 pesticides that are banned in Europe, but being used freely in Canada and US. Not sure why that is, but you can tell the difference when you try the food here, it's like night and day. Now to me it seems like all the food in Canada has the same kind of bland aftertaste.
Cost of living is very good here too. For a single guy, if you make $2k/mo or more, you can live very comfortably here.
There's other benefits too, like the fact that no one here really cares about masks, vaccines or covid. It's not a big topic of discussion at all, and people are free to do what they wish.
I'll probably get some hate for this post but I don't care. Canada is no longer the great country it was 15-20+ years ago, and if you disagree you are in serious denial or delusional.
If you want to leave, leave. Seriously. Don't let others make you feel guilty for leaving. There's nothing honorable in staying behind and trying to "improve" things when the government is actively hostile against you, and a sizeable portion of the population wishes to take your rights and freedoms away. It's a fool's errand.

I'd even consider the United States over Canada right now.
