More context: "In the UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance report this week, as unadjusted vaccine effectiveness against infection (calculated from the raw data) plummets across all age groups in the month ending January 2nd 2022. As for the last sentence, unadjusted effevtiveness against death, well, if one is debating about a medical drug preventing death over a pathogen with a survival rate of at least 99.5% in those with no comorbidities under 70, to get that last few hundredths of a percent advantage getting the jab, then really you have too much to worry about.
