I have no idea how that happened considering that was the only good show on A&E.
That show was fantastic, but apparently it portrayed cops in too sympathetic-a-light and reminded everyone about how they basically spend most of their time dealing with the dregs of society.
I'll be frank about all of these protests and riots and say what we were all thinking, "I'd hate to meet that asshole on the street." Whether it be George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, or even Michael Brown the majority of society spends good money to ensure that they live nowhere near those kinds of pieces of shit. I'm not being racist either, no one of any race wants to be anywhere near people who behave like that.
I actually admire the police's restraint in each of those incidents. If the police were defunded and citizen militia's existed, I would gladly have watched all of them hang and have their heads displayed on a spike as a warning.
How much sympathy could one have for a man who viciously beat a pregnant woman then pointed a gun at her belly during a robbery? Or one who sucker punches a poor immigrant entrepreneur to steal a $5 pack of cigarillos? Or even someone who passes out drunk in a drivethrough, meaning that everyone else who is hungry and designated-driving a car full of annoying drunks has to wait until the police can tow the fucking car out of the way, becoming more and more furious with each annoying second?
Police have to deal with those kinds of people on a daily basis and no matter how compelling the show, no matter the viewership, and no matter how much money A&E was making they decided to axe what was an outstanding show because it showed the police in a sympathetic light.
I hope they go under. They deserve it.
