With the US election looking like it will result in a Trump landslide with him gaining control of all 3 Houses there has to be some level of appetite in this country to normalize relations and just elect someone who will work with Trump.
So far, through trying to appeal to the anti-Trumpers Trudeau has sent out a tweet that caused an economic migrant crisis, fucked up an insanely important trade deal, brought tariffs down on this country, and has been caught on camera disparaging our closest ally for popularity.
None of that was good for Canada. All that shit has hurt us. The people, and it was for no other reason than our joke of a PM thinking that he's too cool to work together with the US President.
Never forget that Harper's winning play was saying that he'd work with the States and normalize relations.
So long as Trump seems like a clear favourite, Canadians know their best chance to not endure another 4 hard years is to vote for the man who says he will work with the US President.
