They defend it by saying the minimum age is 15, but that means they defend 15 year olds with 25 year olds. This was pushed for by the animal who made knowingly transmitting HIV not a felony.

California is a lost cause

We need a federal consent law to limit permissiveness to something like ~2 years around 18 - ie, a 20yo and a 16 yo might not be prosecuted at the discretion of the court.

And the States should be free to limit that even further.
