I thought they are Caucasian but not necessarily “white”, which isn’t a technical term. Indians and Pakistanis are also Caucasian for example. Some are very light and some are very dark. But this simply illustrates the issue with these descriptive terms: people from the same or similar genetic background can have very different skin tones. The news should provide an accurate description regardless of color or ethnicity.
