When this is what we are contemplating locking down over, you know this is never going to end.

So theres more weekly deaths from overdoses and the liberals want to give more people free narcotics. It's like deaths are fine as long as covid isnt on the death certificate. Kinda how gang crime is fine as long as it's just stabbings and human trafficking but if they shoot eachother it's a huge problem.
Manitoba has 3x the amount of murders in 2020 as we do covid deaths.
Pathetic. We are a country of great cowardice.
The only people who want another strong lockdown are the losers who want to stay at home and collect UBI - oh, I mean CERB. Not gonna happen. Get back to work.
This post is misleading and basically fake news.
What exactly is misleading about it? Other than the fact it doesn't look like the scary cumulative "case" chart you've been propagandized to be fearful of by the evening news?
Because deaths are a trailing indicator. New cases in canada have been up four weeks in a row. Thats the important figure and thats why your country is in a panic.
Now the graph detailing current new cases is right next to the one pasted above. The OP knows this but thinks most people will be too lazy to check. This person is engaged in propaganda and has an agenda and truth is not part of it.
Deaths have been flatlined for 9-fucking weeks. That is because most of the sick and vulnerable - those elderly that were already on their death bed - are already dead. My country is in panic mostly because of mainstream media hysterics and clickbait.
But feel free to post more data. A chart of Canadian ICU admittances going sharply up over the past 9 weeks would sorta-defend your "trailing indicator" statement.
Found the propaganda partner.
Theyre everywhere.
Found the brainwashed idiot. Don't worry. It is not your fault.
You have been deliberately mislead with statistics for months now. The media's favourite thing to do is to mix linear-scale data, logarithmic-scale data, non-normalized data, cases, deaths, and stack as many curves as possible from different countries all on the same chart until the data is uninterpretable. Whatever way looks the scariest. My favourite is when they put daily cases on the +ive Y and then put cumulative deaths on the -ive Y but use different scales to make it all look really scary.
That is why a simple chart like this is so revealing of basic facts.
