The question is always "Where is the systemic racism".
The question is never "Why is there 'systemic racism' ".
Why would people be racist towards Indigenous people?
Don't know about you...but my anecdotal evidence of pretty much every interaction with an indigenous person has been negative. A few good experiences. Mostly negative - whether its being accused of being a racist, simply for minding my own business, to confronting the thieves who stole my bike, to the drunk harassment on the street and the threats to start a fight (again, simply for minding my own business) or my personal favourite - when I was accused of being racist and threatened with an investigation from the CRA when I was 15 years old, working at a clothing store and 'charged tax' on this woman, who didn't present her status card to me, how was I supposed to know? - well after she was done losing her mind on me - I offered to correct the error and refund her the tax amount (it was easy to do). Instead, she chose to treat me like shit. How much money are we talking about? $1.61.
In other words...Indigenous people...get your shit together and maybe you won't feel like you're 'alien' to whitey.
Why, it's because the store was on reserve land, my smooth brained friend. I prefer to judge you on the content of your character, than the color of your skin.
How else can we blame whites when aboriginals commit crimes, take drugs, refuse work, neglect their children, and abuse their government handouts?
When all else fails blame residential schools
It's not. Nothing racist was said in the video. Just brown people looking to steal more tax payer dollars. Nothing new.
How is it racist?
Is it a bad thing a white person did to a non-white person? Yes? Then it's automatically racist.
Same as the Floyd killing.
Same as the Blake shooting.
Same as the Taylor shooting.
They've stopped asking if race was a factor in these incidents and are now just assuming it was by default. This is in keeping with the basic marxist precept that everything bad that happens is a function of class oppression.
This is more about the shitty care socialized medicine gives you (Quebec is a fuckin dumpster fire, I would NEVER want to be sick in a Quebec hospital)
Next time there is a Quebec separatist referendum, I am gonna vote YES. Don't need Canadians paying for this garbage. (And before anyone asks, I am of Quebecois extraction and je peux parler Francais aussi)
I saw 2 seconds of the video and you can tell she's a fucking junkie.
Im sure a single women of any race with 7 kids, on drugs would warrant a similar judgement/comment. Stupid.
100% the comments were inappropriate and harshly judgemental in a care based workplace. Talk about that shit over a beer afterwards. Nothing wrong with that.
Who knows maybe the nurses were less diligent in their care. Not an easy job, definitely harder treating people with self inflicted illness'.
Nobody "deserves" to die but that doesn't mean they wont, life ain't fair etc. Its a sad story no matter how you look at it. Them kids :(
