I searched for another thread on this. How did this start all of a sudden, and who thought this was necessary to do every morning before our national anthem?

Unacceptable. They're trying to make some students feel like unwelcomed trespassers based solely on the colour of their skin. It's racism of the highest order.

Completely agree. It's part of the history of this country and should be studied honestly. It doesn't need to be acknowledged every morning.
