Well I'm not so sure now. We've learned a lot about Max since the 2017 leadership election. In particular, about his terrible judgement: Choosing milk supply management as his hill to die on, quitting and starting his own party which was a complete failure, getting into twitter slap fights in objection to teenage girls getting free tampons. Shit like that, constantly. The guy does not know how to pick his battles, which is everything in politics and diplomacy. Who knows what kind of messes he'd have gotten us into by now if he were PM.
