No it hasn't. The Tea Party movement was merely a general reaction to a Democrat (Obama) getting elected to the white house. They were the Republican version of the pussyhat people. Both appeared shortly after each of their respective hated presidents were inaugurated, both lasted a couple years before petering out and fading into obscurity, both are remembered as sad and predicable "REEEEEEing" from partisan zealots who just couldn't accept the outcome of an election and therefore decided to protest.

That aside, I do wish the conservative minority in this country would pull their heads out of their asses and realize that the only reason conservatives ever win elections here is because the left is split across multiple parties, where the conservatives are usually concentrated into one. The last fucking thing conservatives in this country need is more fucking conservative parties splitting the vote. This crop of new conservative parties is a wet dream for the Liberals and NDP. Because they're the only ones who benefit from these new parties appearing.
