There isn't a conspiracy. If you have had conversations with Canadians in RL, you would know that this country is full of a bunch of scared cucks who are begging for the government to protect them from this virus. Every single member of my family is a scared cuck. Except for my crazy conspiracy theorist uncle. I'm sure my family thinks I'm the new generation of crazy conspiracy theorist uncle of this family.

Canadians have willingly decided to trade away liberty for safety in the worst possible way. Anyone who lives in a society has had to agree to trade away some individual liberty for safety. But we have swung the pendulum way too far into the safety direction in our society.

Canada has a nanny state culture. Instead of people making the personal decision to stay home as much as possible, they want to force other people to stay home so that they feel protected. My dad is terrified just to go to a grocery store, to a dentist office, to his optometrist's office. Fear cuts off the part of the brain that allows you to think rationally. Just like how people on the far-right have an immediate fear response imagining a vascular black man (or a vascular black penis) within a 6 feet radius of their daughter, people who are terrified of the virus have that same response when you're within 6 feet of their personal space. A vascular black penis to a far-right guy or the virus to someone terrified of it is like witnessing a Lion in the jungle staring at you. Fight or flight response activated. Remember when liberals would joke that conservatives are ruled by fear and have over-active amygdalas? Well liberals have over-active amgydalas when it comes to pandemic influenzas and coronviruses.

Canada doesn't have a top-down problem. Canada has a cultural problem. Politics is downstream of culture - Andrew Breitbart. Getting rid of Justin Trudeau, Doug Ford doesn't solve the problem. Some other cuck will just bend the knee to what our culture demands of them.
