The STDs (HIV, HSV, HPV, etc.) are completely different types of viruses from respiratory viruses (influenzas, coronaviruses, rhinoviruses). HSV can be dormant in your system for 20 years and then all of a sudden you get visible herpes. That's a completely different beast from respiratory viruses that die in less than 14 days.

The STDs also infect different types of cells

HIV transmits via blood

HPV and HSV transit via skin cells

Influenza, coronavirus, rhinovirus transmit via respiratory tract cells.

A blood-borne virus is not going to compete with a skin-based virus is not going to compete with a respiratory virus

The only real STD virus competition is between HPV and HSV as they are both skin viruses. I don't know how those two sort it out. But both viruses are notorious for being dormant for years in your system. There's also bacterial STDs which are different from viruses.

Back in the summer the media was fearmongering about the possibility of COVID and flu co-infection in the fall and winter. You really think the government deliberately wants to suppress flu statistics when Fauci was warning people that flu co-infection would make COVID more lethal?
