I doubt that any genuine person is capable of believing the PPC could ever accomplish anything more than to solidify Trudeau's stranglehold over this country. I refuse to believe that any thinking, breathing person would actually believe the PPC will amount to anything. Which kind of narrows it down, doesn't it? Especially where the LPC's best strategy right now is to astroturf as many conservatives as possible into defecting to the PPC, because the PPC will never be in danger of winning an election, will never be a threat to the Liberals, but can drain support from their biggest adversary, the CPC.

The Liberals are for sure astroturfing on the PPC's behalf. They'd be absolutely fucking retarded not to. The PPC is the best thing that's ever happened to the LPC. In fact it's not outside the realm of possibility that this whole PPC thing is an LPC project.

Because who stands to gain from this PPC shit? Not Bernier. He's not even playing to win. He's taking the hard-line, uncompromising, fringe wing-nut approach that every politician on earth knows is guaranteed to land you at rock bottom. He's doing it deliberately, playing to lose because he likes his full parliamentary pension + the 100k he takes from PPC donations. The last thing he needs or wants is to have his pension suspended and have to go to back work. He only did this to spite the CPC and Scheer after all. He doesn't actually want the job.
