A pound of crappy butter costing 4, 5, 6 bucks, and the better organic or import stuff costing 7, 8, $9 for HALF a pound is clown world. I refuse to buy butter until it goes on sale for $3- $3.50 a lb or less- and at that point will buy 40lbs and freeze it.

Want really nice imported French or Guernsey butter? Good luck finding it due to import limits but when you do, well that’s a 298% fine when it lands. Sorry... “tariff”. I only will buy it when I see it on sale at $10 a kg or less. But now due to the inflation that Trudeau hides, on “sale” cheese is 11, 12, $13 a kg.

In the Uk you can buy ‘budget’ cheese for about $6 a Kg With more taste than a 5 yr aged cheddar here.
