The okay hand symbol has GOTTEN PEOPLE FIRED FROM THEIR JOBS. Normal people do it all the time, yet it has destroyed lives because the media has a grip on small brains.

All I am saying is that the only reason these things are associated with white supremacy is that we let the media make that association.

If you see a tiki torch at a garden party, do you think about white supremacists? If you don’t, someone probably does, thanks to the media.

“Omg, you have a torch in your yard. Are you a white nationalist? I saw people in Charlottesville with those.”

My point is that the only reason why these things are associated with one another is because the media has made that association and broadcast it to the unthinking masses who believe it.

Edit: Also, torches have been used for THOUSANDS OF YEARS in riots and revolts across the globe. Why now are they suddenly a “White supremacist” symbol?
