No that is leftist propaganda Nazis were very supportive of both Catholic and Protestant Churches and Christian family values. If there was specific Church leader who stepped into the political realm and got whacked sure that happened. But any group that attacked Christians? No that wasn’t tolerated.

Nazis were trying to promote traditional European values and Christianity as they acknowledge was a HUGE part of that. They promoted the idea that a once Pagan Germanic people’s birth rate fuelled the population growth of the Roman Empire. And that those once Pagan people became Christians and became the focal point of European civilization once Rome fell.

That is why German architecture and some imagery was very Roman inspired whereas their rune’s were often Pagan.

I may find some great quotes if I have the energy to enlighten you on this most fascinating subject.

edit: "The NSDAP Party Program stated in part: “We demand freedom for all religious confessions in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or conflict with the customs and moral sentiments of the Germanic race. The party as such represents the standpoint of a positive Christianity, without owing itself to a particular confession....” Positive Christianity adhered to basic orthodox doctrines and asserted that Christianity must make a practical, positive difference in people’s lives."

"It is widely recognized that Protestants were more attracted to Nazism than Catholics. This wasn’t true everywhere in Germany, but we can’t ignore the fact that Protestants, not Catholics, produced a movement (German Christians) dedicated to blending Nazi ideology and Christian doctrine. Protestant women were especially attracted to Nazism because of the cultural conservatism and promotion of traditional female social roles. Nazism was non-denominational, but Protestants favored it."
