Keep in mind, the OPP are the one police force who answer directly to the provincial government meaning they can't come out in open defiance of Ford without being guilty of insubordination. So it's not really fair to hold them to the same standard as local forces who answer to their mayors, not the premier.
I'd expect the OPP to say "Yes sir" and then just quietly decline to perform these random stops.
