I flew to Brazil twice (Sept and Dec) and Indonesia two weeks ago. I haven’t entered Canada since the hotel stay was implemented. Returning to Canada I had to list a place for quarantine when I arrived back in November and Jan and I had to complete the page on the ArriveCAN app.

On departure the airline will require you to show that you meet the entry requirements for your destination country. For Brazil it was easy because there were none at the time.

For Indonesia I had to have a negative PCR test result, a reservation at a quarantine hotel, and proof of admissibility (in my case a valid visa). I also had to complete the Indonesian online form on their app.

It’s easy. Just give yourself extra time because it can take a little longer to check in.
