I already have family pressuring me to take it because there was a rumor that they were going to open it up to 18+ in my postal code because it's a "hot spot". But no they opened my postal code up to just 50+.

Even in the past month with "muh variants" and geriatrics getting vaccinated, the 50+ population makes up 95.5% of the COVID-19 deaths in Ontario (573 deaths/600 in the past 30 days). So if the vaccine is available to people 50+ in hot spots like mine, the COVID hospitalizations and deaths should be coming down soon. And they should roll back the restrictions. Why force young people to take the vaccine to get our freedoms back when the vast majority of the deaths and hospitalizations are old people?

Btw in the past month 70%+ of the COVID-19 deaths are 70+ in Ontario. Even though old people have the benefit of vaccines. And yet we are told that 30 year old essential workers are high-risk and need to be vaccinated. Give me a break.
