Of course, but the Founding Fathers in the USA were Christian, and in Canada our monarch is from the Church of England, and the Canadian constitution recognises special rights for Catholicism and Protestantism.

The problem in Canada is that the Protestants completely gave up their special rights for atheism, so here we are today, only Catholic schools, no Protestant schools. Protestants whine and complain about Catholicism all the time but their own schools were turned into atheist schools. I have no issue with Protestants, it's just that they've been less successful, let's say, in terms of conservation and propagation, at this point Catholics are the ones actually reproducing, exercising special rights, and retaining clerics.

To give you context, it costs $200,000 to train a Catholic priest in Canada, as in Catholicism, priest trainees (acolytes) are sent to monasteries, or seminaries, where priests are trained in history, heritage, theology, and liturgy, and we Catholics pull it off despite society constantly lynching at us. Most Canadians are unaware of this, and it's even more insulting when you hear the accusations of ignorance, or narrow-mindedness, typically from atheists or the irreligious, when our priests are literally degree holders.

Quebec has largely preserved its Christian (Catholic) heritage despite secularism, their culture, and society, is steeped in Catholic culture, whereas the rest of Canada (Protestant and English) have largely abandoned its Christian heritage.
